The Stoop delivery vault on the top landing of a Brooklyn brownstone at golden hour, beside a paneled black door and wrought-iron balusters.

An architectural object for the brownstone

A more beautiful way
to live with deliveries.

Stoop is a secure, architectural delivery vault designed for Brooklyn brownstones — a low, monolithic object, quietly at home on the landing or beside the steps. Installed once. Made to stay.

Chapter One — On the block

The stoop was never meant to hold boxes.

A brownstone entry is one of the most photographed thresholds in America — iron, stone, brass, boxwood, lamplight. And then, most afternoons, a pile of cardboard on the steps.

The courier leaves a stack. The stack sits on the limestone until somebody gets home.

Cobble Hill · a Tuesday

A neighbor watches for it. A text. A sprint from the subway. This is how deliveries work here.

The usual remedies — a plastic bin, a locker kit, a camera on a stick — do not belong on these houses.

Introducing Stoop

Not a locker. An object.

Stoop is designed like a piece of architecture, not a piece of tech. Low profile. Solid weight. Refined detailing. Meant to be read at the same register as the railing, the stone, the door.

Two placements

Wherever it belongs on your house.

Stoop is designed to sit low and quiet in one of two places: on the top landing beside the parlor door, where it reads as part of the door surround — or in the garden apron between the iron fence and the stoop itself, where a row of trash cans has historically lived.

We visit every home before building. Our team measures your landing, stone width, railing clearance, and the way the afternoon light falls on the face. No two installations are the same.

Design & Materials

Heavy, quiet, made to last.

Cold-rolled steel, hand-finished in a low-sheen architectural coating. Solid brass hardware, unlacquered, meant to patina. A weighted, damped lid that closes under its own gravity with the muffled click of a cabinet drawer. There are no screens. There is no light.

How Stoop Works

Designed for every kind of delivery.

Mode 02 · Larger

Large packages.

For larger deliveries, drivers enter the access code and open the main compartment. The package is placed securely inside, then the door closes and locks.

Envelopes & mailers, drop-in.

02

Code for larger.

A rotating PIN for couriers.

03

Yours to retrieve.

Your key, your household, quietly.

Quiet security

Protection, without the theatre.

Stoop is built to be trusted, not performed. The security is mechanical and architectural — the weight of the lid, the geometry of the latch, the permanence of the anchor. Nothing beeps. Nothing blinks.

    A heavy, damped lid.

Gravity-closed and gravity-locked. It takes two hands to open and one second to close.

  • ii.

    Anchored in stone.

Installed with a concealed stainless anchor into your landing or apron. The object does not move.

  • iii.

A seal, not a smart device.

Weather-gasketed; couriers open it like a chest. No app, no code, no account for you or the driver.

    The Stoop Guarantee.

If a package is taken from inside your Stoop, we replace it. No claim form, no phone tree.
